We’re very happy to announce that this June, Coucou Brooklyn and Coucou Soho will merge into the first boutique French school in the lovely neighborhood of Nolita, Manhattan.
The new Coucou space, located on 253 Centre Street (at the corner of Broome Street) will welcome students in a newly renovated three story townhouse with exposed brick walls. The school will take up the two upper floors with a total of 8 classrooms, providing improved comfort and amenities for students and increasing our offering with two additional classes every evening, plus daytime and weekend classes which were formerly only offered in Williamsburg.
Our new location at 253 Centre street is convenient for all, steps from several major subway lines and happens to be located on the same block as a French Wine Bar and a French Coffee Shop! Maybe the beginning of a Little Paris in Lower Manhattan?
This new flagship location will retain the intimate feel that our students have come to love and expect. As it will also host the offices of the Coucou team, it will allow us to be in contact with our students every day, providing the full Coucou experience to all. And of course, we will also keep hosting French-themed events in the Coucou Community’s new home!
Starting June, all classes will take place in our new space.
It’s a big step forward and the accomplishment of a great adventure that we started five years ago on a little Brooklyn corner. We’re very excited to welcome our students in the new space and we look forward to the continuing growth of the Coucou community!
