Our Teachers

At Coucou we’re lucky to have a team of friendly and passionate French teachers with fascinating backgrounds.

All of them are native French speakers and were all trained extensively in our unique teaching method. They come from places as varied as the South of France, Bordeaux, Paris and its suburbs and each one of them brings their unique experiences in art, cinema, literature, education, media and more to the classroom.

Margaux, director

Margaux grew up in Bordeaux, in the heart of France's wine country. She has lived in various anglophone countries (England, New Zealand) and worked in marketing and human resources, both in Paris and New York. In 2015 she started WOOLN, a NY-based knitting company pairing high-quality products with genuine craftsmanship - all the knitwear is hand-made by local grandmothers. While in New York, Margaux also met Coucou founders Léa and Marianne and became their very first hired teacher. When she moved to California, she brought the Coucou concept to the West Coast and opened Coucou Los Angeles in 2017.
