If you have no previous experience with French, or other foreign languages, you can join our primer “Intro to French” workshop. This workshop functions as a teaser of the Coucou curriculum, so you’ll know what to expect before embarking on your French-learning journey.

We’ll cover the rules of French pronunciation, some basic vocab such as numbers and the days of the week, French greetings and other simple everyday phrases. We will not get into the specifics of French grammar or learn verb conjugations – if you feel ready to jump straight into that, you can join one of our regular beginner classes.

This workshop could also be of interest to you if you wish to just learn some simple vocab and phrases before travelling to France or a French-speaking country.

This course consists of 4 x 1.5 hr sessions, and will meet on Fridays  9:30–11am (CST) for 4 weeks.

A digital course book is included in the registration and will be sent along with the Zoom link the day before class starts.
