Concert: Durey Rediscovered
Louis Durey, created music in Paris and wrote songs set to poetry by Mallarmé and Heine, Éluard, Hikmet and Audisio, and Langston Hughes. Durey’s music reflects themes of the 20th century, especially having to do with politics. This concert premieres previously unheard work.
