Love to discover French culture through film? We have just the course for you! In this module, an exclusive partnership with our sister company 6pm in Paris, a streaming platform to learn French, students will get to watch five short films (one per week) as well as their accompanying “After Shorts” episodes on the 6pm in Paris platform, and debrief in class with their classmates and teacher. New vocab and idiomatic expressions will be learned, and different themes will be covered such as money, crime, fashion, the workplace, or giving and receiving compliments.
What will be covered in this module:
- Memorize and learn to use 128 new idiomatic expressions
- Before class, watch the short film and accompanying After Short and read the handout at home on the 6pm in Paris platform (you will be provided with a login upon registering)
- Discuss in class with the help of your teacher (excerpts will be played during the class)
- Practice the expressions through role play and exercises
- At the end of class, the teacher will quiz the students on the new vocabulary and expressions to ensure retention
