François Morisson, a Paris native, began his bartending career in 1989 at GAS Panic in Tokyo. Upon returning to Paris, he helped launch the Hard Rock Café, honing his skills in high-volume service with a personalized touch. In 2002, François moved to New York, where he started at Le Père Pinard, a trendy bistro in the Lower East Side. Over the years, he has worked at renowned establishments such as Balthazar, Pastis, and Minetta Tavern within the Keith McNally Group, as well as with the Starr Group.
François has been featured in top publications like NY Magazine, GQ, Vogue, and Men’s Journal. Beyond bartending, he has consulted for bars, clubs, and liquor brands, organized exclusive nightlife events, and built a reputation as a spirit expert. Currently, he is developing his own rum brand in Haiti, while also consulting on new bar and restaurant openings globally. Additionally, François serves as the Director of Hospitality for The Fearless Artist group, blending his expertise in spirits with the art world.
