Coucou French Classes and Rêverie have teamed up to provide the ideal immersive experience for French learners to practice their language skills and dive into the rich culinary traditions of Southwest France.
We’ll be staying in the ever-so-charming (and stunning!) Château de Labusquière, in the Gers region of Southwest France, just 45 minutes from Toulouse! There’s just one rule for the week: once you step foot into the château, « on ne parle que français ! ». From coffee in the morning to the last sip of wine, Coucou and Rêverie will provide a fully immersive experience where French is the only language spoken.
There’s no better way to improve your conversation skills – and we can’t think of a better experience to make it happen!

We had such a blast in Saint-Martin that we decided to go back and we don’t regret it!
This time, the program included a cooking competition, a boat ride to neighboring island of Anguilla and of course, lots of beach time and cocktails!

Our second trip took us closer to home. We spent 3 days in a renovated private farmstead located a few hours North of NYC.
The weekend included a treasure hunt, a film making competition in French and wine tasting, amongst other activities!

For our first Coucou trip, we took a group of 15 students to the French Caribbean island of Saint-Martin for 3 days of exploring, partying and learning.
Activities included French games by the pool, hiking in the rain forest and enjoying the beach.
Our friends at Rêverie host a series of immersive retreats exploring some of the most beautiful regions of France through the mind of a James Beard award-winning chef. Guests get to stay in a dreamy château, meet local artisans and makers, and discover Rêverie’s rich culinary world.
Burgundology offers carefully curated tours of Burgundy, the best region to discover French gastronomy. In full immersion, you will be hosted in historical properties, eat in iconic places, participate in cooking classes and wine-tastings in the most prominent domaines and visit spectacular French landmarks.
Anne-Marie runs Livin’ French out of her beautiful gîte located near Mâcon, the perfect place from which to discover Burgundy’s wine country. Anne-Marie has put together an amazing program, with French classes in the morning (using the Coucou method!) and cultural visits in the afternoon.
Perfectly located near the world-famous surf spot of Capbreton-Hossegor on the Atlantic coast, Surf & French is a great way to combine French instruction and surf lessons. Groups are kept small to provide optimal support for each student from the highly qualified teachers.
