At Coucou, we value diversity and inclusivity. Our community welcomes individuals of all identities and backgrounds. We are committed to maintaining an environment free from discrimination of any kind, including but not limited to gender, sexuality, race, religion or belief, social class, health, age, or ability, including learning challenges.

Our classrooms are a space for learning, where mistakes are understood as essential to progress. Everyone’s journey is different, and we support each student without judgment. We encourage everyone to adopt the same supportive attitude: focus on your own progress, without judgment toward yourself or others, and remember—we can all learn from one another.

We aim to create balance in classroom participation. Be mindful of who speaks and who doesn’t, allowing space for everyone to express themselves. At the same time, we respect that not everyone is always comfortable speaking, so students always have the option to pass.

At Coucou, as in any community, disagreements may arise. We encourage addressing them calmly and constructively. Your teacher and the admin team are here to support resolution if needed. We strive to provide a safe learning environment for all and have a zero-tolerance policy for aggressive, inappropriate, offensive, or profane language toward staff or fellow students.

One of Coucou’s greatest strengths is its community. Learning is more enjoyable when we support and uplift each other—not just in language learning, but in sharing fun experiences. We’re all here to learn French, so let’s enjoy the journey together!
