Coucou started in 2013 with a very specific vision from Léa Perret. Literally: she dreamed of a French school that didn’t feel like school. A place where adults could learn, meet people, discover things, and actually want to come back.
Over the years, that vision became a philosophy. There’s no single trick that makes French stick. What matters is having enough reasons, people, and ways to keep coming back to it, even when life changes.

The Coucou Method™ gives you structure: seven levels, a clear curriculum, and teachers who know where you’re going next. But French doesn’t have to live only in class.
Some weeks French is a Signature Class. Other weeks it’s a Conversation Lab, a film on 6pm in Paris, an apéro, a trip, or ten minutes of French when that’s all you have time for. The more ways French has to show up in your life, the easier it is to keep coming back.

LIKE AN ADULT
Coucou is built for adult lives, which means we know your French won’t always follow a perfect schedule. You’ll get busy. Travel. Miss a few weeks. Maybe disappear for a while. That doesn’t mean you’ve failed at French.
And learning French should also be a good time. Classes can talk about actual adult life. Wine sometimes makes its way into the room. There are apéros, film screenings, workshops, dinners, Bastille Day parties, DJs, and plenty of reasons to hang out with the people you meet in class. Sometimes a French class really does end at 2am.
