Angèle, Theo

Angèle grew up in Normandy and Paris. She taught in multiple countries (France, Russia, Cameroon, Morocco, Taiwan, China and the UK). She moved from London to New York and joined Coucou in 2022. Passionate about games, Angèle will always find playful ways to challenge her students and get them to learn their vocabulary!

Théo was born and raised in Bruxelles, Belgium. After studying law and living in Paris and London, he shifted his interests towards music. Théo joined Coucou in 2022. When not at Coucou, he enjoys traveling and reading, and is a big soccer fan. Théo is also well versed in French politics.

Join us at Coucou NYC on Friday, April 25th for the next event in our Apéro series. Coucou teachers Théo and Angèle will host an evening of fun and games ! Meet fellow students, form teams and use your French vocabulaire to win !

The game is simple: 3 équipes (teams), 3 manches (rounds), 40 mots français (French words). Each team tries to guess as many French words as possible, with one player giving clues to his teammate. But as the rounds go, rules get trickier !

This two-hour event is a perfect opportunity to meet fellow francophiles, practice your French in a playful setting, and unwind at the end of the week. Whether you’re a seasoned Time’s Up! pro or new to the game, you’re guaranteed to share plenty of laughs!
At Coucou, we believe that social gatherings are an essential part of the learning experience. Our Apéros are like a French-inspired Happy Hour, bringing together students and teachers outside of the classroom to share a drink, connect, and celebrate French culture.
