Build your own bouquet
Hurry! only 2 spots remaining!
Join Coucou admin member Claire and teacher Stéphanie for an evening celebrating floral design with our very first floral workshop! Claire will teach you everything you need to know about mastering the art of the bouquet and demystify the creative process. Learn about choosing a color palette, form and function, types of flowers and foliage, and the real secret to keeping your blooms fresh (it’s not as simple as a penny!). Learn insider tips and tricks for turning basic blooms into high-end designs with her simple hand-tied method. Just in time for Mother’s day, you’ll take home your floral creation as a gift for yourself or someone you love.
About Your Hosts
You may know Claire as a member of Coucou’s admin team, or maybe as a fellow student! But did you know that she’s also a floral designer? Claire caught the floral fever in 2014 and has worked in flowers ever since. When not at Coucou, Claire designs seasonal arrangements in her floral atelier, Fleurier, in Astoria. She’s proud to be part of a vibrant local community of small and women-led businesses.
Stéphanie was born and raised in Metz, in eastern France. After completing her Master’s degree in Art History at University of Strasbourg, Alsace, she decided to live abroad and arrived in NYC in 2020. Stéphanie joined Coucou in 2022. She loves to teach the past tenses and French slang, key elements of improving conversational skills! Stéphanie is passionate about art in general, especially contemporary art. She loves museums, exhibitions, reading and writing. In her spare time, she likes to take pictures and make linocuts.
