Curious about what really happens between two languages? ✨

Here’s a truth AI will never fully grasp: translation isn’t just about finding the right word, it’s about contextualizing it. Tone, rhythm, cultural nuance, the weight of a single comma. These are things that live between the lines.

Our Coucou teacher Claire will guide you through the fascinating world of literary translation, where word choice truly matters and meaning is never quite as simple as it seems. Together, you’ll explore excerpts from both well-known and indie authors, try your hand at translating, and discover how stories shift, stretch, and sometimes transform entirely as they move from one language to another.

Because in French especially, the words you choose say everything. 🇫🇷

All levels welcome! Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced student.
