Pierre was born and raised in Grasse, the perfume capital of the French Riviera. He studied English at university with the goal of becoming an English teacher and spent several years teaching in France before moving to New York to join his husband.
When he's not teaching at Coucou, you'll probably find Pierre cooking, traveling, listening to music, or binge-watching movies and TV shows. He also loves getting together with friends for karaoke nights and belting out his favorite songs. His favorite French pastimes? Pétanque and apéro!

Location

This class will be taught mainly in French, although complex grammar points will be explained in English

You're Intermédiaire, if...

You can say “He gave it to me” or “I ate there last night.”

You can raise Parisian eyebrows with phrases like “My daughter was three when we moved” or “When I met my boyfriend, I had just finished university.”

You know the different past tenses and object pronouns pretty well, but you don’t know the simple future or the conditional.

When you watch a French movie, you can recognize a good amount of words.
