Teacher

Aude, born in Melun, France, holds a BA in International Relations with a minor in foreign languages and a DAEFLE certification for teaching French. Following an internship at the French Embassy in Tokyo, she worked for Chanel and Prada, where her Japanese skills came in handy.

She met her future husband at her best friend’s wedding, and they decided to try life in NYC in 2000. They loved it so much they never left.

A passionate language teacher with over 10 years of experience, Aude brings energy to her classes with games and music, viewing language as a bridge to other cultures.

Fun fact: She never says no to a glass of Champagne – especially rosé!

Join us for an afternoon of knitting and chatting around a cup of coffee! This is a chance to enhance your French conversation skills with Coucou teacher Aude, while working on a projet de tricot ou de crochet (knitting or crochet project). This little get together was designed to help students gain the confidence to use the grammar and vocabulary that they’ve learned in class to converse with fellow students while working on a casual craft project. The goal is to embrace spontaneity and to produce sentences with ease. Embark on a pressure-free journey to fluency; don’t be afraid to make mistakes—just express yourself!

Aude will introduce you to the French knitting vocabulary – all levels of French and knitting / crocheting proficiency welcome!
