Join us at Coucou NYC for the next event in our Apéro series diving into « Le Bureau des Légendes » Season 1, Episode 1 with Coucou teacher Djaka and fellow French students!
Based on real accounts and inspired by contemporary events, this French spy thriller follows the daily lives and missions of members of France’s external security service DGSE – the equivalent of the CIA. As we immerse ourselves in this gripping drama, we’ll explore its acclaimed screenwriting, and the strong, well-developed female & male characters that truly stand out. Perfect for French learners and espionage fans alike, this evening promises to be both educational and entertaining. The New York Times described « The Bureau » as “moody, cynical & stylish … consistently smart and understated.”
Social gatherings and events have always been a big part of the Coucou experience as we strive to create a fun and inclusive community and develop a sense of togetherness between staff and students. Think of the Coucou Apéro as a Happy Hour, where you can spend time with your classmates and teachers outside of the classroom, meet fellow francophiles, and learn about and discuss French culture around some wine and snacks.
Sponsored by Louis Jadot, Maison Perrier and Michel & Augustin.
Please note that our classes, workshops & events are only open to adults.
