Coucou LA

Aude, born in Melun, France, holds a BA in International Relations with a minor in foreign languages and a DAEFLE certification for teaching French. Following an internship at the French Embassy in Tokyo, she worked for Chanel and Prada, where her Japanese skills came in handy.

She met her future husband at her best friend’s wedding, and they decided to try life in NYC in 2000. They loved it so much they never left.

A passionate language teacher with over 10 years of experience, Aude brings energy to her classes with games and music, viewing language as a bridge to other cultures.

Fun fact: She never says no to a glass of Champagne – especially rosé!

As we kick off 2025 we’re excited to invite you to the Coucou Social Club, where you can meet your current and future classmates and connect with Coucou staff in an informal and festive setting!

Social gatherings and events have always been a big part of the Coucou experience, as we strive to create a fun, inclusive community and develop a sense of togetherness between staff and students. The Coucou Social Club was designed as a casual mixer for francophiles to enjoy a night of lively conversation and cultural exploration. Join us on the Coucou Silver Lake patio for a glass of wine while we chit chat in both French and English (and most likely, Franglish!) and get to know each other.

This event is an opportunity for currently enrolled students and their plus-ones to be a part of the Coucou community. Make the fun last longer, BYOB!
