Survival French — your first week of French, start to finish
You’ve never really studied French. Maybe a forgotten semester in high school, maybe nothing at all. This is the week you stop saying “I’ve always wanted to learn” and actually start. Five days, the essentials, no prior knowledge assumed.

About the class
Five lessons over five days, 1.5 hours a day, Monday through Friday, taught live on Zoom. Built and taught by Coucou teachers using the Coucou Method, each day builds on the last: pronunciation that keeps you from freezing up, the vocabulary and phrases you’ll actually reach for, and just enough culture to know how things really work in France. By Friday you’ll be ready to hop on a flight to France.
What you’ll get out of it
- The phrases that get you through a café, a shop, a first conversation
- Pronunciation that sounds like French, not like English with an accent
- Enough structure to keep going, whether that’s a fall class or a trip
- A teacher who makes week one feel doable, not daunting
- A first taste of how Coucou actually teaches
