ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

Level 2 adds a lot of moving pieces. This 2-hour refresher is your chance to bring them back into one clear system.

We’ll revisit the verb patterns and sentence structures that make everyday French much more flexible: asking questions, using modal and irregular verbs, working with reflexive verbs, choosing the right articles, expressing quantity, and building more varied negative sentences. We’ll also return to the passé composé so you can get more comfortable talking about completed past actions.

Ideal if you’ve completed Level 2 but some of the details have gotten fuzzy, or if you want to feel more solid before heading into Level 3.

We’ll review:

  • Question formation
  • Modal verbs
  • Common irregular verb families
  • Venir de + infinitive
  • C’est vs. il / elle est
  • Definite, indefinite, and partitive articles
  • Expressions of quantity
  • Reflexive and reciprocal verbs
  • Negative expressions
  • The passé composé
