Learn French one-on-one with a native French-speaking Coucou teacher, online or in NYC. Each 60-minute private French class is tailored to your level, goals, and schedule, whether you want to work on conversation, grammar, pronunciation, professional French, exam prep, or something more specific.

Choose a package of 5, 10, or 25 private classes and book directly with the teacher who works best for you. Your credits can be used across levels, teachers, and both online and in-person classes, so your private French lessons can evolve with you.

Once you’ve found your teacher, choose the dates and times that work for you and book your private classes directly with them. Then you’re all set.

How long is a private lesson?

Each private class is 60 minutes. Want a longer session? You're welcome to book two classes back to back and use them as one.
When are private lessons offered?

Private lessons in NYC can be scheduled any time before 5:30 PM ET, depending on teacher availability. Prefer to learn from home? Online private lessons are available anytime, subject to teacher availability.
How long are my private lesson credits valid?

From the date you buy them: 10 weeks for a 5-class package, 20 weeks for a 10-class package, 50 weeks for a 25-class package. Unused credits expire at the end of that window.
Can I cancel or reschedule my private lesson?

Yes! You can cancel or reschedule your lesson by contacting your teacher directly at their Coucou email address. Please note that lessons are forfeited if you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson time. Rescheduling is subject to teacher availability. Your lesson is only considered rescheduled once your teacher has confirmed the new time.
