Rêverie

Rêverie
Various regions, France

Our friends at Rêverie host a series of immersive retreats exploring some of the most beautiful regions of France through the mind of a James Beard award-winning chef. Guests get to stay in a dreamy château, meet local artisans and makers, and discover Rêverie’s rich culinary world.

Rêverie’s goal is to help people reframe their culinary approach, thanks to activities ranging from market shopping to pastry workshops and local cheese tastings. Hosts Lisa and Julie give guests an inside look into the entire process of preparing a meal; the intimate setting of the chef’s kitchen allows guests to ask questions and be hands-on.

Livin’ French

Livin’ French
Burgundy, France

We have partnered with Anne-Marie, who runs Livin’ French out of her beautiful gîte in Burgundy, since 2018. Located near Mâcon, the lodging is the perfect place from which to discover Burgundy’s wine country. Anne-Marie has put together an amazing program, with French classes in the morning (using the Coucou method!) and cultural visits in the afternoon.

The program’s length and content are fully customizable. Our students who have attended all praised Anne-Marie for her gift as a teacher, tour guide and cook, as well as her deep knowledge of the region and connections with local wine-makers and chefs. You can do your homework poolside and then treat yourself to a Michelin-starred dinner in Lyon – a real French treat!
