FRENCH TEACHER (PART TIME)

Coucou French Classes LA (Culver City) is hiring!

Coucou is a leading French language school, providing group and private, online and in-person French classes for adults. With headquarters located in NYC and Silver Lake, the school has developed its own unique teaching method over the past 10 years. 

What sets Coucou apart is its focus on modern French and creating a fun class atmosphere. In addition to classes, Coucou also offers French cultural workshops and events, fostering a bicoastal community of francophiles. 

We’re looking for part time native French teachers able to start ASAP in our Culver City location! 

 

 Here’s what we need from you: 

    • Comfortable with teaching in-person
    • French is your mother tongue and English proficiency is a must
    • Available on Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings (5:45-9pm)
  • Commuting easily to Culver City twice a week 
  • Energetic, lively, and social
  • Up-to-date with French culture and know how to make language learning exciting!
  • Stellar people skills – patience, punctuality, and reliability are key 
  • Eligible to work in the US (green card, EAD, or citizenship) No prior experience required as we provide all the training!

Applicants must be:

  • native French speakers (French is your first language)
  • have a very good command of English
  • energetic and outgoing
  • knowledgeable about French current events and culture, and able to make learning a language lots of fun!
  • have excellent interpersonal skills – patient, punctual and reliable
  • flexible with their schedule and available at least 2 evenings per week and a few hours on the weekend as well
  • authorized to work in the US (green card, EAD, citizenship).

We provide paid training sessions – no experience needed.

  • What we offer:
  • $30-50/hour
  • Semi-annual bonuses
  • 50% transport reimbursement
