Events in Los Angeles

Come and join our fun, culturally-savvy events throughout the year – art shows, film screenings, wine tastings and everything in between!

While the backyard parties we organized in our former Williamsburg space in Brooklyn were legendary, we plan to continue the tradition in our new L.A space! We celebrate our French cultural heritage by hosting parties for such annual events as Bastille Day and Mardi Gras, but sometimes Coucou parties are just an excuse to get together and meet classmates, teachers and students of other levels in a casual setting!

Upcoming Coucou Events:

Embroidery and Knitting Workshop

Saturday, December 7th – 4pm-6pm 

This winter, create a custom holiday gift while practicing your French!

Margaux and Cynthia will be hosting a joint knitting and embroidery workshop. 

We will provide all materials (needles, fabrics, patterns, threads, wool etc), explanations and vocabulary in French, nibbles and drinks. 

You will be able to either craft: 

– a knitted bow-tie

– a knitted headband 

– a French word embroidery hoop

Join us for a holiday spirit moment with a French twist! 


This workshop is also open to people who are not current students.

Holiday Party!

Friday, December 13th – 7pm to 11pm

Holiday season is around the corner!

Bring your favorite glittery Christmas sweater and meet us for some traditional “vin chaud”, nibbles and holiday treats.

There will be a little giveaway for you! Details TBA
