Events in Los Angeles
Come and join our fun, culturally-savvy events throughout the year – art shows, film screenings, wine tastings and everything in between!
While the backyard parties we organized in our former Williamsburg space in Brooklyn were legendary, we plan to continue the tradition in our new L.A space! We celebrate our French cultural heritage by hosting parties for such annual events as Bastille Day and Mardi Gras, but sometimes Coucou parties are just an excuse to get together and meet classmates, teachers and students of other levels in a casual setting!
Upcoming Coucou Events:
We are very excited to announce that we’re hosting a reopening party on Bastille Day, which will be a chance for students who knew us before the pandemic to get together again, and for students who have recently joined us to tour the school and meet their teachers and classmates IRL.
Wednesday, July 14
5-7pm: open house & apéro
7pm: live performance by Keveen & friends
8pm: short film screening by Mark (La Vidéothèque)
9pm: dance party
For food and drinks, Aval is providing delicious cider from Brittany, and L’Appart by Air Food will be slinging crêpes from a crêpe stand on the patio – a classic pairing! The entire event will take place outside, and a raffle will be held the end of the event.
Prizes will include a breakfast for 2 at Loupiotte Kitchen, 5 pilates classes at Paris Pilates, French cider from Aval Cider, group classes, private lessons & workshops, and other goodies from Coucou & friends!
All profit will be donated to 826LA, a non-profit organization based in Echo Park which offers creative writing classes for local children and teens.
Buy your $5 tickets at the school during our Bastille Day event!
