Jihanne

Jihanne was born and raised in Avignon, in the south of France. After completing her Master’s Degree in Education, she taught in Lyon for five years. Passionate about travel and culture, Jihanne traveled throughout South America and Europe before moving to New York in 2021. She will help you interact in French, get to know the culture and prepare you for your next trip to France.

Join us at Coucou NYC on Friday, August 23rd for the next event in our apéro series. Jihanne will be hosting a very special French trivia night. The theme of this trivia night will be… France on the Map! You guessed it, we’ll talk about French geography and cities and include regional delicacies and historical fun facts!

Social gatherings and events have always been a big part of the Coucou experience as we strive to create a fun and inclusive community and develop a sense of togetherness between staff and students. Think of the Coucou Apéro as a Happy Hour, where you can spend time with your classmates and teachers outside of the classroom, meet fellow francophiles, and learn about and discuss French culture around some wine and snacks.
