Aude, Anicet

Aude, born in Melun, France, holds a BA in International Relations with a minor in foreign languages and a DAEFLE certification for teaching French. Following an internship at the French Embassy in Tokyo, she worked for Chanel and Prada, where her Japanese skills came in handy.

She met her future husband at her best friend’s wedding, and they decided to try life in NYC in 2000. They loved it so much they never left.

A passionate language teacher with over 10 years of experience, Aude brings energy to her classes with games and music, viewing language as a bridge to other cultures.

Fun fact: She never says no to a glass of Champagne – especially rosé!

Anicet was born in Gien, a small town in the South of Paris, and raised in the Loire Valley. Anicet came to the US in 2018 and joined Coucou a few months later. When it comes to language nerds, Anicet has the full package! In addition to a Master’s Degree in Classics, with a specialty in linguistics and language history, he is a trained professional singer. His career has taken him worldwide singing regularly in more than 6 languages.

Join Coucou teachers Anicet and Aude to discover the magic of astrology en français ! The workshop will be held in French and English to accommodate all levels of French proficiency.

Social gatherings and events have always been a big part of the Coucou experience, as we strive to create a fun, inclusive community and develop a sense of togetherness between staff and students. Think of the Coucou Apéro as a happy hour where you can spend time with your classmates and teachers outside of the classroom, meet fellow francophiles, and discuss French culture over some wine and snacks.
