For Americans moving to France, understanding the workplace can be quite the challenge, and newcomers usually have to grapple with many new questions. How do you address your boss and your coworkers? Why does it matter whether your employment contract is a CDD or a CDI? Do people really work only 35 hours a week? What is a cadre? Do you have to answer your boss’ texts outside of work hours?

Join us for our French Work Culture workshop to answer all of these questions and more. Maybe you are planning to work in France and don’t want to look like Emily in Paris on your first day, or perhaps you’re just curious about what working in France is like. In any case, you are sure to learn plenty about the quickly evolving French work environment.
