Nicolas was born in Nancy but lived in Lyon his whole life. A Master graduate in Business Management, he worked in the healthcare system, but also as a freelance journalist, for more than 10 years. After moving to New York in 2024, he became a tutor to share his love of French language, but also his passions of cooking, hiking in the Alps, video games and creative writing.
Fun fact: he is also a language student, learning Indonesian to be able to talk with his wife’s family.

You're Grand Débutant, if...

You can introduce yourself in French, talk about your job and hobbies – even if you sometimes have to rely on the kindness (and patience) of strangers to make yourself understood.

You can conjugate regular verbs in the present tense. You can also conjugate common irregular verbs, such as être, avoir, faire and aller.

You know how to get articles and adjectives to agree with their nouns (for the most part).

You know how to construct a basic sentence in French (subject, verb, object, etc).
