The Coucou Social Club was designed as a casual mixer for francophiles and brings together Coucou students and teachers for a night of lively conversation and cultural exploration. Social gatherings and events have always been a big part of the Coucou experience, as we strive to create a vibrant and inclusive community and develop a sense of togetherness between staff and students. For this festive edition, bring your holiday cheer and join Quentin and Melissa in celebrating the holiday season with some classic French carols!

Feel free to bring a friend who would be interested in discovering Coucou’s community spirit! Join us and enjoy a glass of wine as we chit chat in both French and English (and most likely, Franglish!) and get to know each other. BYOB!

This event is an opportunity for currently enrolled students and their + 1’s to be a part of Coucou’s francophile community! Please include your guest’s name and email in the comments section of your registration form.

SOCIAL CLUB / NYC / FRIDAY 12-15-23

About your hosts:

Quentin is French and American and was raised between the French Riviera and Maryland. He studied Performing Arts and specialized in Musical Theater. He joined Coucou as a teacher in June 2018. Quentin is a real showman and he loves using tools and games from his professional acting training to help his students better their language skills in a fun, caring, and conscious manner.

Melissa was born and raised in the Paris suburbs. After studying literature in France, Melissa moved to New York City to pursue her musical theater training. She is an actor, singer and dancer and also has experience in film dubbing. Melissa joined Coucou in 2021 as a teacher and never misses an opportunity to use her entertainment skills in her classes. Her other passions in life include ramen, history and ballet.
