Saturday, May 17th, 4:00 PM
Nice weather is bound to be upon us sooner or later – and when that time comes, Coucou will be ready! To celebrate, we’re hosting a French apéro/barbecue/garden party extravaganza.
Expect chilled rosé and grilled treats by Durazzo & Friends (which some of you may remember from our outdoor screening last summer). Maybe we’ll even get to play pétanque, the favorite outdoor game of old, béret-clad southern French men and Parisian hipsters alike. Join us for a typical French spring afternoon in the Coucou garden on Saturday, May 17th!
Did you know: one suggested folk origin for the word “barbecue” is that it comes from the French “(de la) barbe au cul”, meaning you would skewer and roast a lamb or a pig “from the beard to the ass”.
***Please Note***
This event is open to our students (past, present, and future) and friends only.
